Binance API Setup Instructions
Please follow these steps to configure Junglebot with Binance.
Step 1 Acquire and configure your API Key from the Exchange
Enabling trading on Jungle Bot is a two step process that requires active subscription in Jungle Bot and active registration in Binance. If you don’t have registration and active subscription in Jungle Bot, please visit Jungle Bot Website, and follow the instructions. If you don’t have registration in Binance, please visit Binance, and follow the instructions.
🔐Log in to your Binanace account and 👆Select the Profile Information on the top right. 👆Select “API Management”from the profile information dropdown list.
You will see the “API Management”. 👆Select “Create API” to begin creating your API key.
From “Choose API Key type” menu 👆select “System generated” then click “Next” button on the bottom of the window.
Choose an appropriate name for your API key and 👆click “Next”
Complete the puzzle by sliding the orange box with the white arrow.
In the “Security Verification” window click on “Get Code” buttons that are located on the right side of the appropriate fields. In the “Email Verification Code” field enter the 6-digit verification code you received by email. In the “Phone Number Verification Code” field enter the 6-digit verification code you received by sms. Next 👆click “Submit” button located on the bottom of the window
Afteryour identity verification is complete you will see the API key listed in the “API Management” ❗Copy and save the “API Key” and “Secret Key” in a secure location. ⚠️NOTE: Once you close this window you will not have access to the Secret Key ever again. If you lost your Secret Key you will need to delete this key and generate a new one. Next 👆click “Edit restrictions” button located on the top right corner.
On the bottom of the API key options 👆click “Restrict access to trusted IPs only (Recommended)” radio button and enter the following IPs separated by white space 78.142.25.146 78.142.25.150 37.72.130.66 and 👆click “Confirm” located in the field.
Next ✅ check “Enable Spot & Margin Trading” and 👆click “Save” located on the top right corner.
You will have to verify your identity one more time. 👆Click “Get Code” button and enter the 6-digit verification code send by sms to your phone.
Step 2 Enable trading with API Key on Jungle Bot
🔐Log in to your Jungle Bot Trader account and select the Profile Information on the top right then 👆 click on ⚙️“Settings”
From the exchange account “Settings” 👆 click “Configure Now” for Binance exchange.
Enter the API Key and Secret Key from your newly created API key on your Binance account. Choose “Main Investment Asset” from the dropdown.
After you enter the corresponding fields 👆 click “Test Connection”. If connection is established you should see a popup window with confirmation. Next 👆 click “Save” to save the changes.
Coinbase Advanced Trade API Setup Instructions
Please follow these steps to configure Junglebot with Coinbase Advanced Trade.
Step 1 Acquire and configure your API Key from the Exchange
Enabling trading on Jungle Bot is a two step process that requires active subscription in JBot and active registration on Coinbase.
If you don’t have registration and active subscription in Jungle Bot, please visit Jungle Bot Website, and follow the instructions. If you don’t have registration in Coinbase, please visit Coinbase, and follow the instructions.
⚠️IMPORTANT NOTICE:
When uploading your ID for verification in Coinbase make sure you read the ‘Accepted identity documents’ section in Verify your identity on Coinbase manual.
When you update your personal information make sure you read the ‘Update your personal information’ section. When uploading a document as a proof for residential address make sure that the document is written with Latin characters.
🔐Log in to your Coinbase Advance Trade account and select the Profile Information on the top right. 👆Select ⚙️ “Settings” from the profile information dropdown list.
You will find the “API” menu among the options. 👆Select “API” and then “New API Key” to begin creating your API key.
Through the process you will be asked to verify your identity by entering verification code that will be sent to you by SMS, on the phone you entered with your Coinbase registration process.
Enter the code (that you have received on your phone) in the appropriate field and 👆click “Verify” on the bottom right corner.
After you verify your identity, a new window will appear with configuration options for your API Key. In the “Accounts” 👆section check “all” option.
⚠️NOTE: Currently Jungle Bot supports only CRYPTO:EUR trading options. In the future other options will be available.
In the “Permission” section, ✅check options as shown in the picture below.
Within the “Security Settings” section and in the “Allowed IP Addresses” field enter the following IPs: 78.142.25.146,78.142.25.150,37.72.130.66. Do not enter blank spaces between the characters. ⚠️NOTE: Separate different IPs with commas ( , ) as shown below. Next 👆click, “Create” on the bottom right corner
You will see a popup window with the essential information about your API key registration. ❗Copy and save the API key and API secret in a secure location.
⚠️NOTE: Once you close this window you will not have access to API Secret ever again. If you lost your API Secret you will need to delete this key and generate a new one.
Check the “API“ menu and you will find your newly created API Key listed. Check the summary of your permissions, account wallet settings and if the key in “Enabled”.
Step 2 Enable trading with API Key on Jungle Bot
🔐Log in to your Jungle Bot Trader account and select the Profile Information on the top right and 👆 click ⚙️“Settings”
From the “Exchange Account Settings” 👆 click “Configure Now” for Coinbase Advanced Trading exchange.
Enter the API Key and API Secret from your coinbase account. Choose “Main Investment Asset” from the dropdown.
After you enter the corresponding fields 👆 click “Test Connection”. If connection is established you should see a popup window with confirmation. Next 👆 click “Save” to save the changes.
